6 oz Cranberries, fresh or frozen
2 Navel Oranges
2 Apples
4-6 Bananas
6 or 7 Dates, pitted
4 Tbsp. Flaxseed (optional)
12 oz. Ice Cubes

In the container of a high-powered blender (such as a Vita-Mix) place cleaned and rinsed cranberries, peeled oranges, washed and cored apples, peeled bananas, dates, and flaxseed (a good source of omega-3 fatty acids).

Add the ice. With cover in place, run blender at high speed until all ingredients are combined and creamy smooth.

If the fruit smoothie is thicker than desired, add some ice water and blend into the fruit smoothie.
