Peaches, White

There are more than a dozen varieties of white peaches that ripen throughout the Summer and into the beginning of Fall.  This variety of free-stone white peaches were purchased at a farm store in the beginning of October.  Their skin has the standard peach coloration on the outside with a creamy white background that is often more visible that the one in this photo, and they have a creamy white flesh on the inside.  The split peach is a very tree-ripened peach, which was deliciously sweet and had a flowery perfume aroma.  Many of the pits split when the preaches are cut in half. We could not find any specific nutritional information for white peaches, so we have included only general peach nutritional information.
