Peppermint tea is an enjoyable vegan beverage for after a meal or for any time of the day. This recipe will make 2 cups, and it takes only about 10-15 minutes to prepare and steep the tea. Peppermint tea has been enjoyed by people for hundreds of years for its wonderful flavor.
Place the peppermint leaves, or a tea ball full of peppermint leaves in 2 cups of boiling hot water and let steep for 5-10 minutes.
Remove the tea ball and pour the peppermint tea into individual serving cups, or if using loose leaves, pour the tea through a tea strainer into individual serving cups.
Add stevia extract or your favorite sweetener to taste.
