Turnips, Yellow

According to the literature, yellow turnips with yellow flesh are neither hard to find nor hard to grow, however we have not found these yellow turnips in the supermarket, and not always at farm stores. The literature also says that the much more common varieties are very similar in taste and texture, but we have found that these yellow turnips are milder tasting and great for eating raw in salads. They also can be cooked in a wide variety of recipes. We could not find specific nutritional information for yellow turnips. See general nutritional information for turnips.
