Red kidney beans are high in fiber. We use canned kidney beans for their convenience. Their only drawback is their salt content, but when mixed with other unsalted ingredients, the beans add the salt taste. The canned kidney beans are great for “quickie” soups and for mixed bean salads. See the nutritional chart below.
