This ginger tea recipe appears to be one of our own vegan kitchen discoveries, as we have not seen it in any other recipe collection. Preparation time is less than 3 minutes. Several of the references we have seen say that ginger is a digestive aid, which may be another reason to make this tea.
Ingredients:
1 cup Boiling Water
1/8 tsp. Ginger, dried, ground (or more to taste)
Stevia Extract Powder OR favorite sweetener, to taste

Ginger Tea Preparation:
There are two ways to make this enjoyable tea:
The first way is to preheat the water in a traditional tea kettle on the stove top. While the water is heating, place the ginger in the cup and then pour the boiling water into the cup, and let steep for a couple of minutes.
The second way is to make the tea in a microwave oven. In this method, place the ginger in the cup, add cold water and heat in the microwave oven until hot, when it is ready to serve.
If you like your tea sweeter, add stevia extract or your favorite sweetener to taste.
