Pepper Sauce, Hot Red

Photo and Description from Vegan Venue

Pepper Sauce, Hot Red is a vegan pantry condiment ingredient that we mostly used to add spicy heat to many of our vegan recipes. We prefer it to black pepper.

About Pepper Sauce, Hot Red

There are many brands of hot pepper sauce with differing degrees of “heat”. We usually keep two kinds on hand: a high heat type, and a milder lower heat variety to produce the desired taste. We suggest that you buy those that taste the best to you. If you do not like very spicy food, we suggest that you only buy the lower heat varieties. We have found that, in many cases, a combination of lemon juice and hot sauce, can satisfy the taste for salt in many recipes.

Some background information:

Over the years, people have been asking us, “What do vegans eat?” This is probably because they first think about a flesh product as the main meal, and then think about everything else as a side dish. So, we began publishing the huge variety of plant foods that are available for us to eat in this section of our web site. Additionally, we are always on the lookout for something new to add to our collection and experiment with to incorporate into our meals. We have also found that eating mostly unprocessed plant foods make us much more healthy.
