Peppermint Tea

Peppermint tea is an enjoyable vegan beverage for after a meal or for any time of the day. This recipe will make 2 cups, and it takes only about 10-15 minutes to prepare and steep the tea. This delightful tea has been enjoyed by people for hundreds of years for its wonderful flavor.

Ingredients:

2 tbsp. Peppermint, loose dried leaves.
OR
1 Tea Ball Clam Shell of Peppermint compact dried leaves
Stevia Extract Powder OR favorite sweetener, to taste.

Cooking Utensils:

Measuring Cup, Liquid
Measuring Spoons
Tea Ball, Clam Shell

Peppermint Tea Preparation:

There is not much to making tea, so when we make tea that doesn’t come in tea bags, we place two heaping teaspoons of the dries leaves, or a tea ball full of full of the dried leaves in 2 cups of boiling hot water and let them steep for 5-10 minutes.

Remove the tea ball and pour the tea into individual serving cups, or if using loose leaves, pour the tea through a tea strainer into individual serving cups.

If you are like us and like your tea sweeter, you can add stevia extract or your favorite sweetener to taste.
