Tomatoes, Grape are about the size of grapes and are usually sole in pint containers. When we do buy them, we mostly use them on salads. We have also used them cut in half in our tofu scramble recipes. See more about them below.
About Grape Tomatoes:
The small tomatoes in this full-sized photo are about three times their actual size. Grape tomatoes taste very similar to other tomatoes, and they cost more than full size tomatoes, but they are great in salads. We think of them more as a fun food tomato. We grew twelve of these small tomato plants in one of our deck planters. Few of them reached our table, as we kept eating them off the vine. Choose grape tomatoes that are firm and bright red. Over recent years, we have begun to see these small tomatoes in other colors and shapes. We could not find any specific nutritional data for grape tomatoes. See the nutritional chart for tomatoes.
Some background information:
Over the years, people have been asking us, “What do vegans eat?” This is probably because they first think about a flesh product as the main meal. After that they then think about everything else as a side dish. So, we began publishing the huge variety of plant foods that are available for us to eat in this section of our web site. Additionally, we are always on the lookout for something new to add to our collection. This way we can experiment with to incorporate into our meals. We have also found that eating mostly unprocessed plant foods make us much more healthy. It’s a great way to live and our foods provide almost all of our vitamins.
